Prof. Litovski in Madrid

In the period between December 09, and December 18, prof. Litovski took part at the Consortium meeting in Madrid.

Preparations for the final report were on the agenda as well as planning the realization of the rest of the activities.

The TEMPUS JEP 41107-2006 project activists took part at the ETRAN conference held in Vrnjacka Banja on June 14 to 18 (full program of the conference can be found here). A very successful round table was organized together with the Project JADES.

At 53rd ETRAN Conference Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia (June 15-18 2009) LEDA members participated with papers:

Prof Litovski and prof Petković were also engaged in steering and organizational activities of Section for Electronics.

Dejan Mirković is receiving the ETRAN award for best paper in the area of Electronics published in the LII conference of ETRAN held last year at Palić, Serbia. The award is delivered by Prof. Srdjan Stanković, President of ETRAN

Prof Milunka Damnjanović and prof Milun Jevtić spent two weeks (6th to 21st june) in Spain. They have visited Technical University of Madrid within the retraining activities of the TEMPUS JEP 41107-2006 project .

Marko Dimitrijević joined Borisav Jovanović in Southampton within scietific and educational cooperation supported by the JEP 41107. Details of his work will be published later acording to future tasks given by Prof. Mark Zwolinski.

Borisav Jovanović just arrived in Southampton where he will spend two months as part of the three-month trip supported by the JEP 41107. His host there is Prof. Mark Zwolinski. Borisav already expressed his satisfaction with the first impressions.

    Silicon on Chip laboratory

TEMPUS JEP 41107 - 2006 the best offering for the SoC laboratory equipment selected. That will enable delivery of the first part of the equipment for the laboratory within next few months.

   The four lindens of Brlog

Within TEMPUS JEP 41107 - 2006 project four lindens were planted in Brlog village. The lindens symbolize cooperation of four countries (U.K., Spain, Macedonia, Serbia) and were planted by prof. Litovski. More about the event see here.

   TEMPUS project networking

The TEMPUS JEP 41107-2006 project activists took part at the TREND symposium held at the Kopaonik mountain in Serbia. The following presentations were given by our project members within the Joint TEMPUS Projects Workshop JADES – DEUKS - SoCD, March 3, 2009

Consortium meeting was held reviewing the current activities.

Finalization of BSEC project

The BSEC Steering Committee decided to approve the Final Report and deliverables of the Project “Network of Integrated Circuit Design Teaching Centers in Black Sea Region” on Meeting held in Istanbul, 23 January 2009.

Accordingly, the Final Report will be forwarded to the BSEC Working Group on Education (that initially endorsed the project) for its consideration and possible follow-up.
